The Matume drive is held in honour of the late Alfred Matume Ramare who selflessly along with his wife Joan cared for the people of L&J Informal Settlement for many years. As the months get colder, it gets harder for those out there who are less fortunate than us. With this in mind, and with the generosity of those who could, we were able to help 80 families in Olifantsfontein with a hamper of non-perishable food items, as well as beanies, and share 100 hot meals with everyone on the day.
